About the service
We operate a 24 hour, everyday of the year helpline, which can include one to one support. The helpline provides practical and emotional support for you, your children and any family members that are being, or have been, effected by suicide.
We can signpost you to appropriate places you might need or just aid you while you work out what your circumstances require at this traumatic time.
We can make referrals for you. We can liaise with the police, hospitals, talk to coroners or help with any practical issues you may have.
We work closely with agencies that can support you through the devastating effect of suicide, including faith groups.
We provide support and training to schools affected by suicide. We also offer a peer support group ( Click here for a downloadable copy of our peer group information )which can be a safe place for people to share their stories, feelings and derive comfort from spending time with people who have similar experiences.
We can aid and advise organisations and professionals supporting someone bereaved by suicide.
